Junior Artistic Swimming

Juniors

Artistic swimming (also known as synchro) is a combination of  gymnastics, acrobatics, dance and swimming. It requires coordination, flexibility, stamina and team spirit.

Our coaches take great care to teach artistic swimming skills in a fun way and we believe in starting early with swimming to music.

Our junior section is 3 years old and our swimmers are practising for artistic swimming grades 1 and 2. We took part in the Sussex Championships with great success. The Brighton Festival Fringe Show in May is a big part of our calendar.

  • Experienced artistic swimmers are welcome to join anytime (you can contact us below)

  • Beginners: must be 8 or over and have achieved Learn to Swim Award Stage 7 or equivalent (Click here for more details on Swim Stages)
