Synchro News

Two of our swimmers went to the Brussels Masters Open Meet on 26th/27th March 2011. Gaye and Margaret came home happy with their swim and the gold cups they’d been presented with for their winning duet in the 40-49 age group.

They swam to music from Dr Who for the technical routine and Merlin for the free and had a really good time, eating Belgian chocolate and waffles and drinking Belgian beer! (after the competition of course!)

There were teams from, Belgium France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, and The Netherlands, as well as three swimmers from the UK. It was a very friendly competition and we hope to return again next year with the whole team.

The team are now working hard preparing for the Festival Fringe show

Lights, Water, Action! on the 7th May.

Tickets are available from the Festival Box Office for the 8pm show, or from Liz on a club night for the 6pm show.
