The pool will be closed on Tuesday 5 June so there will be no swimming club that evening.
Sunday 3rd and 10th are open as normal.
As we are all aware there are not enough changing rooms for us all to use at the same time and whilst leaving your clothes in a cubicle to ensure you have one to come back to after your swim does not work for others.
On a Tuesday swimmers coming in at 7.45pm to get ready for the 8pm session are finding it increasingly difficult to access a cubicle to get changed in.
On a Sunday our little ones in Learn to Swim are coming out early and shivering in the changing area because they can’t find a free cubicle, and are “competing” with the incoming public for a space.
I therefore ask that no clothes are left in the changing area and that all personal items are placed in lockers. The committee thank you in advance for your cooperation in this matter, and have agreed that should clothes be found left in cubicles they will be removed and bagged and placed in reception for collection…….!
The club does not have exclusive access to the pool and leaving personal items in the changing area is a risk. The club cannot take any responsibility for items that go missing and we therefore advise you on a security basis that using the lockers is a much better option.
